Don't give yourself an excuse...

Have you started your Spring Cleaning check list yet?
Have you decided how you're going to tackle the job of Spring Cleaning your house?
Have you found inspiration? Magazines containing clean rooms and organized closets are great inspiration.  But don't linger too long... you might forgo the cleaning for the reading.
Have you gotten excited?  Are you working on your new habits?  The biggest reason people fail at creating and sticking to new habits is that they don’t keep at it.

That seems obvious: if you don’t keep doing a habit, it won’t really become a habit. So what’s the solution? Find a way to keep going.  The key to forming a habit is not how much you do that habit every day, but whether you do it at all...

Please let me encourage you today.  Just get started.  If you read my post about 10 habits for keeping your house clean, then pick one and stick to it.   Decide for yourself to make your bed every day.  In fact, teach your kids to make their beds everyday.  Create an accountability chart and give each other a smily face when you've completed your task... whatever works for your family. Encourage one another... but just start.

In fact, why are you reading this blog post :) ?  Get up and get one thing started.  Come on, set your timer for 10 minutes... you remember the 10 minute rule... just get going!

I encourage you because I love you!

Only By His Grace,

Billie
